I am a transformational leader, life strategist and visionary.

I hold a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership in the Global Context and a Master of Divinity in Urban Ministries from the Alliance University. I am is an alumna of St. John’s University and hold an MBA in Finance, MBA and BBA in Risk Management and Insurance. I studied music at The Juilliard School and Berklee College of Music. My work includes studies in Women Leadership Studies at Harvard University and Yale School of Management, Executive Education.

I serve on the Leadership Team at the Alliance Tabernacle in Brooklyn New York as the Executive Pastor. I am the Founder and CEO of Joe’s Academy of Music, an arts and culture organization, and the Founder and CEO of Jolander Headley Leadership Development LLC, a global empowerment organization. I am an accomplished business professional with over 26+ years in finance, music, leadership development and education in non-profit sectors. I coach C-Suite Executives and Leadership Teams to improve communication, implement personal growth and professional development strategies to advance the vision and mission of the organization.

I am a TEDx speaker and also a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Facilitator and International Conference Speaker in countries such as Fiji, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago and more. I am a Certified Corporate Facilitator, D.I.S.C. & EQi® Consultant and specializes in Human Behavior. I also holds a certification in Minority Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) and is a licensed Insurance Broker.

I continue to give back as a member of The Greater Queens Chapter of the Link Incorporated and Phi Delta Kappa International and serves on the Board of Directors in several organizations. I am most passionate about the intersection of philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Jolander Headley is the owner of Joe's Academy of Music, which has been an internship host with the Cross Cultural Internship Program since 2013. Jolander has taken on numerous J-1 interns from overseas and provided a structured, guided training experience to students of varied backgrounds. Last March, Jolander joined me on my trip to Singapore for the program’s pre-departure orientation. There, she mentored and shared information about the internship experience as well as her expectations as a host with the prospective interns. Her years of experience as a company owner, as well as an internship host, provided invaluable insights to the young students and future business leaders.
