Jolander Headley is the owner of Joe's Academy of Music, which has been an internship host with the Cross Cultural Internship Program since 2013. Jolander has taken on numerous J-1 interns from overseas and provided a structured, guided training experience to students of varied backgrounds. Last March, Jolander joined me on my trip to Singapore for the program’s pre-departure orientation. There, she mentored and shared information about the internship experience as well as her expectations as a host with the prospective interns. Her years of experience as a company owner, as well as an internship host, provided invaluable insights to the young students and future business leaders.

My teaching style is engaging, practical and inspirational. I speak transparently from the heart and have changed many lives. I am fully committed to sharing my story as this is the calling that God has on my life to encourage and empower others.

I am the President & CEO of Joe’s Academy of Music Inc. since 1998. I have spent over 26 years in Corporate America in leadership roles including: Vice President, Client Advocate, Producer, Account Executive and Licensed Insurance Broker. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management & Insurance; MBA in Finance from St. John’s University and a Master in Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. In addition to my John Maxwell Certification, DISC Assessment Certification and MWBE Certification, I hold several other certifications and licenses relevant to the business, finance and music industries.

I currently apply my business acumen and wealth of knowledge in my executive leadership role in XStream Impact Foundation and Major Music International Corporation, while pursuing my Doctorate in Global Leadership at the Alliance Theological Seminary.

It is not always clear cut on whether you need a coach or if you should seek out a mentor. Sometimes you need both. I can help you with this decision as well as help as a coach and/or a mentor. I offer various options to help you to consider.
